Effective date: September 30, 2026. Nails & Numbers is an Illinois-based digital business offering construction calculators, estimating tools, and contractor planning tools. By using the site or purchasing digital access, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
Planning tools only. Calculators, estimates, examples, defaults, ranges, and business tools are for general informational and planning purposes. They are not bids, construction documents, engineering, architectural, legal, tax, accounting, code, supplier, or financial advice and are not guarantees.
Your inputs and verification. Results depend on the information and assumptions entered. You are responsible for independently checking measurements, calculations, quantities, material yields, labor assumptions, equipment capacities, payloads, prices, taxes, code requirements, site conditions, supplier information, licensing requirements, and professional requirements before purchasing, quoting, hauling, building, contracting, or otherwise acting on a result.
Digital access and subscriptions. The Pro monthly plan includes a 3-day trial and, unless canceled before the trial ends, converts to a paid monthly subscription at the price disclosed at checkout. It renews each month on its billing-cycle anniversary until canceled. The Pro annual plan includes a 3-day trial and, unless canceled before the trial ends, converts to a paid annual subscription at the price disclosed at checkout and renews annually until canceled. Taxes may be added when required. Renewal dates are based on the applicable Stripe billing cycle, not a fixed 30-day count.
Cancellation. You may cancel a recurring subscription before the next renewal through the available billing/customer portal or by contacting nailsnnumbers@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access may continue through the already-paid period. Where applicable law requires a renewal notice or additional cancellation method, Nails & Numbers will provide it.
90-Day House Build Access. The Detailed House Build Calculator is a one-time digital purchase providing 90 days of access from successful payment. It does not automatically renew.
Refunds. Digital access and subscription charges are generally non-refundable once access is provided or a paid billing period begins, except where required by law or where Nails & Numbers chooses to provide a refund for a duplicate or erroneous charge. Cancel before renewal to avoid future charges. See the Refund Policy for details.
Electronic agreement. When checkout requires acceptance of these Terms, your electronic acceptance is intended to evidence your agreement to the purchase and, for recurring plans, the disclosed automatic-renewal terms.
No warranty. Real-world projects vary. Inputs, rounding, waste, moisture, density, product specifications, field conditions, local rules, and user error can materially change an outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nails & Numbers makes no warranty that any result is complete, error-free, current, or fit for a particular project or purpose.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nails & Numbers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its outputs. Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Professional review. If a project requires licensed engineering, architecture, accounting, legal, code, transportation, supplier, or trade expertise, obtain that review before relying on a calculation.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without limiting any consumer protection that applies regardless of this provision.
